LED123 makes its evaluation: 5 innovations that have changed the life of our customers in 2021

The end of a year is the time for big resolutions, but also the time to take stock. What worked and what didn't? What were the victories? What needs to be changed? LED123 also took part in this year-end assessment. The aim is to highlight the evolutions and improvements experienced by the platform in 2021, which have facilitated the work of partners looking for customised LED linear lighting.

Our brand new website

The website has had a facelift. It has become more modern, more attractive and with a better design. Everything has been designed to combine aesthetics with functionality, just like the custom-made lighting we manufacture. In the top menu, all the important features have been highlighted, so you don't have to search for them too much. We've set up a blog to share the different projects of our partners. Maybe you will find your inspiration there.

The showroom

The year 2021 was marked by the COVID19 health crisis. Although the epidemic originated in 2019, it was particularly virulent during this year. This great dry spell for business (if it can be called that) allowed LED123 to redirect its energy towards improving customer satisfaction. In this context, the virtual showroom was born. It is the ideal tool for those who need to visualise before buying.

Admittedly, it is difficult to get a clear picture of the differences in effect between 3000K and 3500K lighting. This has been one of our customer's comments for many years. Thanks to the virtual showroom, this problem has been solved. You can now immerse yourself in an environment, apply the lighting of your choice and decide which options you like.

In figure 1, you can see a small simulation of our showroom showing a single white colour of 4000K versus a single white colour of 2700K. The latter (2700K) has a darker and therefore warmer light. Take a look at the virtual showroom to give you some context for your next purchase.

CLIDE

If you haven't heard of CLIDE yet, now is the time to discover this wonderful tool we're developing. When we started at LED123, we discovered the complexity of estimating a budget for a commercial or private lighting project. The client who launched his project really didn't know what to expect (literally):

• He didn't know what the cost would be. The various specialists in the sector only offer a rough estimate of prices, which can fluctuate greatly;
• He didn't know how long it would take. Yes, it sometimes took several weeks to get an estimate or a quote;
• Nor did he have control over the final product. The client did not know what he would get in the end.

In the world of customised solutions, it is essential to have an overview of the installation. Imagine for a moment that a driver is placed on the left, instead of the right where it should be, in order to fit into the wall provided for the purpose.

LED123 has decided to tackle all these grey areas with the CLIDE project, which will be online in March 2022. This application allows you to :

• Manage all your submissions online (archives, duplications, sketches, etc.);
• Get an instant price for a standard or customised project. Based on the forms, you enter the details of your project in an intuitive way and you automatically receive the price and a complete tender file. It's exactly the same system you use to make a purchase on Amazon.

The full submission file

While waiting to welcome CLIDE, LED123 has reviewed the way it responds to a submission. Currently, submissions are manual for custom projects and take between 24 and 48 hours. Instead of sending a document in a traditional invoice format, we have included several other very important elements:

•  A technical sheet of the products involved in the production of the luminaire. This is the best way to reassure the project manager of the quality of the inputs;
•  A detailed and concise sketch of the final product

Our assembled products

This is the last innovation of the last quarter of 2021. Through its partnerships, LED123 has unearthed a brand new type of product: assembled products. As far as their particularity is concerned, they are luminaires already assembled by our suppliers and are ready to use with standard measurements
